journalism
While serving as a teaching fellow at the Amazwi School for Media Arts in South Africa, I wrote a syndicated newspaper column "Diary from South Africa" published in the Chicago Defender, Pittsburgh Courier and Memphis Tri-State Defender. This work was later published in my book "From the Southside to South Africa" co-written with historian Michael Arbagi.
